Companion Care Service

Transportation assistance

Getting where you need to go should be easy and unhurried. Our caregivers provide friendly, door-to-door companion transportation so older adults can keep appointments, run errands, and stay socially active.

Where we help you go

  • Medical and dental appointments (with company in the waiting room)
  • Pharmacy, grocery, and everyday errands
  • Social visits, faith services, clubs, and community events
  • Family gatherings and special occasions

It's more than a ride, a familiar caregiver helps door to door, carries bags, and provides steady, patient company the whole way.

Common questions

Does the caregiver stay during the appointment?

Yes, and that is often the more useful half of the service. Waiting rooms are where people miss what the doctor said, so company through the appointment matters as much as the drive there.

Is this medical transport?

No. This is companion transportation for someone who can travel in an ordinary vehicle. It is not ambulance service, stretcher transport, or clinical transfer, and there is no medical monitoring on the way.

Can rides be arranged for something other than a medical appointment?

Yes. Pharmacy and grocery runs, faith services, clubs, family gatherings. Appointments are the common reason families first call, but staying socially connected is often the reason the visits continue.

What does door to door actually mean?

The caregiver goes in with your family member rather than waiting at the kerb: a steadying arm, bags carried, the walk in and back out. Where someone needs lifting or physical transfer, that crosses into hands on personal care, which companion care does not cover.
