Wellness check-in visits
For families who live far away or simply want reassurance, regular check-in visits keep a caring eye on a loved one's comfort, safety, and spirits, with a friendly update after each visit.
What a visit includes
- A warm check-in on how your loved one is doing and feeling
- A look around for everyday comfort and home-safety concerns
- Light help as needed and friendly companionship
- A simple update to the family after the visit
Scope
Wellness visits are non-medical, they are not nursing assessments, vitals checks, or clinical monitoring. They're a caring set of eyes and warm company, plus family updates. We'll flag concerns so you can involve the right professionals.

Common questions
What is actually checked during a visit?
How your family member seems in themselves, whether the home looks as it should, whether there is food in the fridge and it is being eaten, whether post and bills are stacking up, and whether anything has shifted since last time. It is observation rather than examination.
How is this different from a nurse's visit?
A nurse takes readings and makes clinical assessments. A wellness visit involves neither. No vitals, no diagnosis, no clinical notes. What it provides is a regular set of attentive eyes and someone who will notice when something is off.
Is this worthwhile if we live out of state?
That is the situation it exists for. Distance makes small changes invisible, and a phone call rarely reveals what being in the room does. The update afterwards is as much the point as the visit itself.
What happens if the caregiver notices a problem?
You hear about it promptly, described as what was observed rather than as an interpretation of it. From there you decide whether to involve a doctor, and we will help you think it through.
